Generation gap refers to the differences in the ways of thinking and perception in the people of two different generations which results in behavioural differences and sometimes conflict among them. In simple words, it is the difference in the thinking of the people of the older and younger generation which is generally connoted with the lack of understanding or misunderstanding between them. The main cause or the reason for this has been attributed to the rapid culture change particularly with the respect of musical, tastes, fashions, culture and politics.
