Anger is among a very strong emotion. It is a completely normal, usually healthy human emotion, but if it gets out of control it is very destructive emotion. Uncontrollable anger can lead to serious problems at work and in personal relationships, and may undermine the individual’s overall quality of life. There are various reasons which can lead to ANGER. For example: rudeness, pain, physical illness, mental illness, alcohol, usage of drugs, being teased , humiliation, injustice, deadlines, financial problems, etc. sometimes even the values and principles related to pride, love, money etc can also lead to anger.
Thus it becomes very important to have control on one’s anger. The best way to resolve this is through anger management. Anger management is a procedure of acquiring the skills to recognize signs that you are becoming angry, and taking action to deal with the situations in positive way. Anger management teaches you to recognize frustrations early on and settle them in a way that allows you to express your needs, while remaining calm and in control. It also helps one to identify what triggers your emotions, and how to respond so that works in your favor instead of against you.
