For more than two decades, Bihar politics is traditionally bipolar, where Mr. Lalu is on one end and all opposition parties are constituting the other end.

Though from last 2 consecutive terms RJD has been out of power in the State, but still due to Lalu’s strong personality, deep caste networks and a strong image among senior leaders, he remains in formidable force.

But with yesterday's incident, which actually was started on 14th Feb, it seems Lalu's era is over.

There were times when a political leader think twice before talking in front or about lalu ji, but now leaders like Samrat Chaudary, son of senior RJD leader Mr. Shakuni Chaudhary, alleged that he was camping in Delhi and ignored Bihar, he has turned the party into the "B" team of congress. 

Yesterday 13 out of 22 MLA's have quit the party, almost close to 60% -- in my engineering days 40% was minimum passing marks.

2014 is an year of Ifs, and but's -- with elections taking place in the world’s three largest democracies — two of which are also among the most keenly watched economies and could see the government changing hands..

More then 700 million people in India heading towards ballot box this year could also see a leadership change, with the odds stacked against the incumbent coalition government successfully holding on to power after the general election in May. Voters will cast
their vote in the hope that their new leaders can shake the economy out of its slumber.

But as the final day is approaching so are the different ways of wooing the Voters.

We have seen controversial statements, comments, jibes and many more political gimmick to woo voters but this would be the first time where we will see battle between Chai and Chaat.

As per maths two plus three is called five, but in cricket it defines the history.

Brendon McCullum is now the third batsman in the world with a double and triple century in consecutive tests, a man whose aggressive batting is very fascinating both for the batsman and the spectators. For nearly two days at the Basin Reserve, facing 559 balls for 729 minutes, he has shown what the world has known him for. Wellington cheered almost every ball he played right up until the dab behind point that made him the first NZ batsman to hit a triple century. Even NZC was anticipating a triple century and has honoured his captain by reducing the tickets to half price. Unlike last test match where bowlers helpfully lost their lines this was one different. Bowlers not giving an inch fear of losing the match with 5 batsman remaining, creaking body but still McCullum succeeded in taking denial to another level.

His stiff temperament has made him listed as best scorers of Newzeland and ranked him in the list of players like Bradman, Hammond, Sehwag, Lara and many others. No one in the history other than the blind supporters would have expected an innings like this from McCullum. Even in other form of crickets like T20 he rightfully gets criticised for often throwing it away needlessly in trying to hit every bowl he faces. At times, the criticism is uncharitable.

With a reputation of party atmosphere, were large proportion of attendees choosing to wear fancy dress -- Rugby sevens is an annual tournament generally held on the first weekend of February. The tournament has become Wellington's largest, and one of New Zealand's leading sporting events.

May be there are other tournaments in some other parts of world where persons prefer partying outside the stadium rather than watching the actual match but for me this is one of the rarest, I have ever seen. Tickets are sold in few minutes and it would be hard for you to get an accommodation during this time.

It has been great to see the amount of support this series is getting by government and various other institutions.

Thrill ride of non-stop action, with no time outs, it’s literally hard to look away since every play is potentially explosive and the good part is you don’t need prior experience to enjoy the game.

In recent years I have tried watching this game and somehow I feel that it's a game which requires lot of energy and power, but above to all it requires good tactics to upbeat the opposition. Traditionally Rugby test match has 15 players in each team, but seven’s is different ---with less than half the number of players on the same field gives lot of space and provides more opportunity to shoot a gap and score. Every kick-off, stoppage, scrum is a chance for a turnover. Possession can change at any moment, and every time it does, someone might sprint for the goal line.

Frightening hailstorm hits Canterbury

New Zealand which is known as second most generous, naturally beautiful and safest country in the world is once again hit by atleast two tornadoes that damaged some properties in Canterbury region.

Canterbury earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 was one of the most devastating events in New Zealand’s history. Yesterday's storm may not have done lot of damage but once again it has tested mental endurance.

Table tennis ball-sized hailstones, shredded trees,  small iron sheets going around in air, swirling winds, clouds almost at the touching distance forming a funnel.

It's almost like scary Hollywood movie. 

But such things are not under our control we can't do much about the nature's call.  However, we should be ready dealing with such hailstorms

We must always keep local chamber numbers handy, after storm we must contact local professional roofing contractor to assist in determining the extent of damage our roof received. Make sure to contact someone who is from your local area. Try to be in group and if you feel that ground is moving then try to get under tables till you get any further assistance from emergency groups.

After the blot of pepper spray incident in Parliament, now the passage of Telangana Bill in the Lok Sabha can be condemned as murder of democracy.

Telangana bill may or may not be fruitful to some but stopping the live broadcast is probably the worst that can happen with right of information. So tomorrow if someone asks:  Hey listen we brought the RTI act then guys please be aware its only on papers nothing else. If the government is too scared in showing their true face to the nation while passing an important bill then such acts are of no use.

Telangana formation may be a reason of rejoice for some of our friends who are fighting for the birth of India’s 29th state, but it's the saddest day for parliament. Blackout in parliament – Lok sabha Television was allegedly stopped from broadcasting the proceedings of the House on the Telangana Bill.

Is the machines are at fault? Satellite in the orbit of Earth decided not to work  or Loksabha Television's decided to switch themselves off.  Is this the solution to avoid pepper spray incident or a conspiracy hatched by the ruling party leaders.

After the smooth passage of Telangana bill in both Houses in Parliament, primary school going children have expressed their anger for the burden of extra syllabus for GK they will have after the creation of 29th state – Telangana.

‘Kya yaal, by gleat difficulty, I had memolised that Indian had 28 states. And I am told, the syllabus changed? Now I will also have to memolise the new capital and Chief Minister of this state – Telugu-nana. And new capital and new CM of Andhla Pladesh also. Why don’t they have some melcy on us?” complained the stammerer child Munnu of Class III.

Another kid Guthi of Class IV said, “This is so confusing. One day Hyderabad is capital of Andhra, and over night, it is capital of Telangana? Two new Chief Ministers also changed. Now, within few months, you will say Prime Minister also changed. Why do they not understand it is such a burden on us when we have to erase something which have crammed by so difficulty and stuff it with new loads? Zuckberg recently joked that Jan Koum crashed his Valentine's dinner with his wife.

With no surprise blockbuster announced on Wednesday, mega-deal around world's biggest social network -- eye-shocking $19 billion deal which involves more than billion and half members. It would be biggest acquisition in less than two years for facebook. WhatsApp software which is available free for now, but we often see a message to pay annual subscriptions of 99 cents each.

Facebook’s acquisition Wednesday of WhatsApp, a mobile messaging service that has soared in popularity around the globe as a way to deal with costly SMS services provided by mobile carriers, was eye-popping. Eyeing smart phone mobile messaging service Zuckberg and friend of many years Koum feels this as a valuable thought partnership. Emotions are discreet, measurable and physiologically. There are five basic emotions around which every human being revolves around Happy, Sad, Excited, Talented, Tender, Scared and Anger.

Anger is among a very strong emotion. It is a completely normal, usually healthy human emotion, but if it gets out of control it is very destructive emotion. Uncontrollable anger can lead to serious problems at work and in personal relationships, and may undermine the individual’s overall quality of life. There are various reasons which can lead to ANGER. For example: rudeness, pain, physical illness, mental illness, alcohol, usage of drugs, being teased , humiliation, injustice, deadlines, financial problems, etc. sometimes even the values and principles related to pride, love, money etc can also lead to anger.

Thus it becomes very important to have control on one’s anger. The best way to resolve this is through anger management. Anger management is a procedure of acquiring the skills to recognize signs that you are becoming angry, and taking action to deal with the situations in positive way. Anger management teaches you to recognize frustrations early on and settle them in a way that allows you to express your needs, while remaining calm and in control. It also helps one to identify what triggers your emotions, and how to respond so that works in your favor instead of against you.

It sounds bit optimistic but it’s really true; Our character is what we do when we think no one is looking. We often feel that who cares no one is watching us. But those are the times when our internal instinct should come in place. It’s easy to comment on others but hard to do introspection.

Someone has rightly said thoughts become your words and if you don’t watch your words they often become actions or reactions. But even at that point you have enough time to correct your actions and if you fail to do so then those actions become habits which portray your character. And finally your character is something which decides your destiny.

A trip to Bhaderwah - 'Mini Kashmir'

Bhaderwah is a small town in Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever seen in my life. I have not been to kashmir but Bhaderwah is not less than kashmir. 

We were 4 friends who decided to leave for 2 days holiday trip to bhaderwah from Jammu. We started our journey at 11 o’clock in the morning in a personal car 'Maruti Alto' from Jammu city with a bunch of clothes and some food stuffs for the journey. 

In couple of minutes we saw Vaishno Devi temple 'sacred place for Hindus' in Jammu at the top of mountain, the temple of was at the top of mountain. 

Roads were narrow and were not a highway to drive very fast. Our average speed was 70-80 KM/Hr. We stopped at certain tea stalls on the way and had some local food as well. It was pretty decent and a different experience 'food in J&K is very rich food'. Saw vultures, beautiful scenic places nearby, rushing trucks from Srinagar to Jammu, an undergoing construction bridge with lots of beautiful mountains standing tall covered with SNOW. Layers of snow running through Himalayan Mountains...

As per my travel experience the best houseboat tour is of Komarkom ( Kerala ).

I had a Kerala trip of around 7-8 days and how can anyone complete Kerala trip without Houseboat experience.

I did not google anything about my houseboat review this time unlike my other hotel bookings to make it a surprise for me as well. And you wont believe it was worth keeping that as surprise.

My cab entered in a very narrow lane in parallel to small canal you can say Or Nala in hindi.... I thought this might be a bad choice of taking this houseboat. I boarded in one of the houseboat and it was unbelievable that a boat with master bedroom at par with 4* category room and what a bathtub and bathroom overall!!!!  Houseboat staff decorated master bedroom with flowers :P

Boat staff was so humble and punctual that I did not get any chance to ask for anything. They welcome us with sweet Nariyal Pani ( forgive me unable to describe that as Coconut water ) and smallest Banana I have ever seen till that day taste of banana and Nariyal Pani was truly unimaginable  . . . banana is my favourite fruit but I was  not aware that banana taste like that as well.

Having a roommate is a mixed blessing. You are able to manage expenses and afford high rent by splitting. You get a company which is better than to live all alone and high chances of ending good friends until the roommate are a total stranger and full of incompatible habits.

In order to avoid the later hassle, one must have a good talk with the roommate before moving in; it could be referred as a healthy talk for building a decent rapport between two individuals.

The first time I shifted to a flat from a hostel it was on twin sharing. It was a huge house but with a single bedroom, it became really necessary for both of us to adjust according to each other. I had asthma and I made it clear in her mind, my roommate also started smoking in the balcony instead of in the flat. Adjustments are to be made by both individuals and partners.

Horrible roommate can be spotted by studying the habits of the person and the condition of how he/she is keeping the flat. If the room if filled by trash and garbage littering all around, or messy conditions.

Love: A feeling that is very predominant in your early years of marriage towards your spouse, before realities of life catch up and you only see light at the end of the tunnel ;) When in love, a fully grown average adult cannot tell a flower from a fruit, and experiences a slight blur in vision.
